Vaj does not give clear cut reasons, why other types of meditation is
better that TM.
A distinction should be made between a True believer and True fanatic.
The only fly in the TM ointment is the TM-org itself.!!
TM is an ancient technique, a tool for seekers seeking peace. but, the
TM-org is a major irritant.!
SSRS never made promises that he could not keep.
That is why his AOL mov't is on a much better footing, much more vibrant.
If you have doubts, ask Dr.Pete.
Maharishi, unfortunately has bitten off more that he could chew.
He should have thought twice or even thrice before introducing the 'sidhi
program', 'Flying program', 'Purusha group', 'Full page adverts'.......
Excessive publicity is a dangerous thing. It can burn a man. Like a
moth attracted to a flame gets burnt, too much publicity can damage the
organisation.
A silent mov't would be far more successful.

Actually I've NEVER said TM was a fraud--quite the opposite. Although I'd now
recommend people who really wanted to learn this style of meditation to learn
SSRS's technique as it is a superior evolution of TM IMO. A better org too.
Just don't make the mistake of it being the 'be all and end all' like the
fundies.
Personally I find the similarities and common ground of various tantras,
whether Natha, Hindu, Buddhist, Bon or Jain all incredibly beautiful.
