"The whole country will be geared towards the motto: one leader -
one party - one ideology," he added.

Sort of alike but shades of difference. Venezuela in the realm of
politics and government they got democracy a.k.a. `power of the
people' giving their power over to an autocrat then heading towards a
totalitarian state with the strongmen.

With Maharishi and the TMorg he has been the autocrat & the ego of
the institution under it from early on all along. At times with
faces of theocracy, autocracy and then totalitarian. Its name to MUM
and M everything, you have a cult theocracy with megalomaniacal
messianic narcissists at the helm here.

Maharishi now more commonly closes off critical discussion of how
things are going by saying, "Mind your own business". It evidently
is big business, which makes it different from State political
structures. But similarly, power corrupts, as they say. & Infinite
power corrupts infinitely?

Probably there also is similarity to the TMorg with things about the
slide through the Iranian revolution, from the Shaw as autocrat
displaced to theologic state to autocrat in Kohmeni, then the
totalitarianism of the Ayatollahs. Revolutionary theology was
utopian as it started out and then supplanted by the strongmen under
the revolution all along, ending up totalitarian. Mighty big power
struggle and play under it all. Not unlike the TMO.
