Ironically, in the name of perks, companies often go the wrong way when it 
comes to 
office-space. In his book on managing techncial people, David Cunningham 
describes one 
client company where he told the bosses that they needed to give their two top 
programmers a single office space in order to improve productivty. The company 
was 
appalled because both guys were VP level and had each received corner offices...
