I don't "know" it, but in most spiritual traditions
that have ever flourished on this planet (with the
exception of TM, of course), the most fundamental
and essential prerequisite for spiritual advance-
ment is *humility*. Few things develop humility
faster and more effectively than cleaning someone
else's toilet, especially in a group that has
carefully been taught to consider themselves
better than others (to the point of having
"servants" themselves to do such things for them).

So I'd be willing to bet that anyone who has been
in such an artificial and *anti*-spiritual environ-
ment (in terms of the development of humility)
would benefit *greatly* from a session or two with
Mr. Clean and a toilet brush.

Besides, wouldn't it be a real hoot if one of the
MD ladies decided to become an untouchable for
the day and went over to the pundits' place to
clean their toilets, and as a result got majorly
enlightened? It would fuck with the entire paradigm. :-)

At the Passover dinner before Christ's crucifixion Jesus disrobed , wrapped
a towel around his waist and proceeded to wash the feet of each person in the
room, an act of service , love and humility.
