Seems there is more than one idiot present.:-) Just as the author of the paper may or may not have been initiated into Buddhist meditation, you haven't practiced TM for years. Just as consciousness changes our experiences, so does the experience of TM change over time. But you wouldn't know about that, since you no longer practice it. Instead you go about proclaiming someone an idiot because he acts as you do. Any more ungrounded thoughts on TM or the TMO or Maharishi? Or your top 10 reasons why you appreciate all three. Either will do. :-)
