So, anyone who doesn't drink is automatically an alcoholic? I decided to stay away from alcohol 20 years ago because I had a father who was an alcoholic, yet I seldom drank before deciding to abstain completely. Even now, I'll have a sip of champaign at New Year's, but I'm well aware of the potential for abuse. Should I be considered a dry drunk, even though I NEVER drank to exccess more than 2 or 3 times as a kid and never was tempted to do so deliberately?
