Except that (as you know), I'm not a True Believer; and you haven't been able to point out any insane thinking on my part. > > Can't rule out the possibility that Vaj, or one > > of his supporters, created the email account and > > posted the material from TMFree under his name to > > make it look as though one of his critics had > > done it to discredit him. Ah, the > > > things that people do in the name of belief... > > I carefully worded my reply to cover idiots on > both sides of the fanatical fence. Well, not exactly. You carefully worded your reply so as not to *specify* which side of the fanatical fence you were talking about, while clearly choosing your words to suggest it was the pro-TM side. An exercise in "plausible deniability," in other words. And Vaj did the same in his own response. But, of course, neither option makes any sense. In both cases, the motivation to fake the post in Vaj's name would be antithetical to ideology. Anti-TM fanatics would hardly wish to discredit Vaj, one of their champions; and pro-TM fanatics would hardly wish to do the TMO harm by revealing the TM-Sidhis techniques. > To me it seemed > (and still seems) equally likely that someone from > TM-Free (in other words, an anti-TM fanatic) did > this as it is that some TM fanatic did it. Equally *un*likely, actually, as I've noted. > But someone did it, and whoever it is, that person > really, truly, no question about it qualifies as > a fanatic. In fact, the only individual whose motivation to make the post would not be in conflict with his ideology is Vaj himself, in a species of "false flag" operation.
