I agree with Orson Scott Card, who called Firefly "the best science fiction TV series ever created...in many ways, the *first* good science fiction TV series ever created." Babylon 5 (having now seen some episodes) is almost unwatchable by comparison. It's boring, pretentious, and insufferably humorless, with one-dimensional characters who have not a spark of humanity in them. Oh...that's probably why you like it. Never mind. Different strokes for different folks. :-)
