Well, let's be clear here, most of our sexual lives are private. At a certain point M. became a celebrity and therefore a larger part of his life came under a more public scrutiny. The only reason that any of this of interest is because he claimed to be a life long celibate.

To show otherwise highlights a considerable lack of integrity. But to ignore that his own desires for fame (and world domination) were part of overall picture is to miss the larger point. Yeah, he taught us all some nice basic teachings, but the bottom line is that the only reason these teaching were so diluted and weak was because it was really all about "strategic market placement". And it just happened that the fruits of said market penetration also had some other benefits, other penetrations.
