For a manual on the stalking of and subsequent care and feeding of minions, check out Christopher Moore's latest novel, "You Suck: A Love Story." Tommy and Jody are new vampires. They fall asleep at sunrise and don't wake up until sunset, so they need someone to run errands for them during the day. So they find a 19-year-old Goth girl named Abby Normal and make her their minion. It's just to die for; whole chapters are written in the form of Abby writing in her Journal. Very, very funny stuff.
