I would of thought the Shankaracharya of the South dissing Mahesh as
a phony would've dislodged most TB fingernails, but that's just the
way it goes. Denial is a very strong mechanism (it's downside is you
have to "partition" your awareness to keep the fiction goin'--so much
for "wholeness"). Any Sociology 101 student knows that the "the world
is going to end tomorrow" types all just pretend nothing ever
happened 'the day after' nothing really happened, when everybody's
still just like they were.
TB's are no different.
