I saw it in French, but the IMDB says that there is an English-subtitled version available. If so, I can recommend it highly to those who don't feel that religion and spiritual topics have to be treated as deadly serious as most filmmakers treat them.
Directed by Athur Joffé and starring the delightful Hélène de Fougerolles, the basic plot is that God has written a screenplay and descends to Earth to find a director capable of making it into a film. Much merriment ensues, and when people get to see the final film, everyone sees something different, and everyone feels...uh...lighter as a result. Well worth a rental.
