It's amazing how worked up everyone in this country and around the world has gotten over this one incident of 33 being murdered. This is the minimum of what goes on in Iraq every single day, or even less than every 24 hours. Every single day. The daily carnage in Iraq outdoes and its been going on daily for 4 years. I don't see anyone in this country making as big a deal of that as this one incident.
In the last 3 years over 400,000 people have been killed in Darfur, that comes to over 350 people killed per day. I don't see any of the politicians making a big show of mourning the loss of these 33 students raising one single finger to do something about the genocide in Darfur. Bush makes a great show of flying to Virginia and expressing his sorrow. Yet when hundreds and thousands of people in Iraq are being massacred, including and cerntainly not limited to American soldiers, he hasn't attended the funeral of one single soldier, no less allow their returning coffins to be displayed.
