I am not a moral relativist. I can understand why a culture believes as they do without agreeing with them. I believe that not being prejudiced is a higher moral value and should be pursued and protected when possible by law. This does not mean that in every conversation my goal is to do more than understand the context of the person's beliefs. I think that some areas of cultures and societies have acquired "better" values than others.
