All I can tell you is that her (what I perceive to be) unpleasantness is unique in my (admittedly limited) experience. In any case, if the guru has feelings and feels free to be unpleasant when they're walked on, why should it not be the case that Swami G. feels resentment at being forced to act as a guru and expresses that resentment in her responses?
