Maharishi says: "..whereas in truth each limb is designed to create
the state of Yoga *in the sphere of life to which it relates*." Gita

Practicing ONE limb (samadhi) is NOT practicing all of them
simultaneously, all eight are designed to compliment one another. *All
eight* are a means to the ultimate goal of Yoga or Union/Unity with
Brahman as you well know. There are eight, not six! This is what he
had to do to teach it as a science, deal with it and start practicing
Yama and Niyama and you'll start making real progress.

So Judy.....where is his teaching on Yama and Niyama, a mere mention
is hardly a teaching!! Is it? Hey he did what he did and I'm the
richer for it but let's not kid ourselves TM is more than just
meditation, far more. IN fact, it's Yoga-lite for modernity, all the
Religion has been removed!! Instead of being "shrouded in the garb of
mysticism" it's now "hidden in the garb of science".
