So, you're thinking that just because Swami Brahmananda
Saraswati practiced TM and was a Sri Vidya adherent, that
the origin of TM being a tantric form of meditation is a
leap.

You're not even being logical!

If Swami Brahmananda was a Sri Vidya practitioner who
taught meditation on the bija mantra of Ista Devata, was
a Shankara Dasanami whose guru was Swami Kirshnananda
Saraswati of Sringeri, the headquarters of the Sri Vidya
sect, and that the TM bija mantras are inscribed on the
Sri Yantra at Puri, Jyotir, Kanchi and Sringeri, and
mentioned in Shankara's 'Saunadaryalahari' and in the
'Tripura Upanishad'.

But you're thinking it is a leap to suppose that TM is
similar to Sri Vidya meditation practice?

You need to get some smarts, Bharat2 - all the
Shankaracharya Order members worship the Sri Yantra and
pay homage to Tripurasundari. Sri Vidya is the most
popular form of Indian tantra. All the Shankaracharyas
have been Sri Vidya adhearents.

So, you're thinking that instead of getting the bija
mantras from Guru Dev, Marshy went all the way to south
India on a bus to get them from a popular phrase book at
a bookstall.

Now that's a leap!
