A personal account from last Sunday: Having concluded some shopping I
took a left out of the parking lot and went through two traffic lights
and moved over approaching the next intersection to get into the
double left lane, to make my next turn.

Although traffic was light, everyone was stacked up in the rightmost
of the two left lanes, leaving the other lane nearly empty. So one
left lane was nearly empty while the other had all the cars. I started
mumbling about the inconsiderate drivers and how no one had a clue on
Sunday morning, etc. etc.

Then as we finally made the turn and I pulled ahead of the lead car
behind which all the others were following I relized I had been
waiting in line behind a funeral!:-)
