Yes, you bring up a key point-- settling for less, or just focusing
on the Cosmic are both poor examples of our complete integration.
What you are describing was exactly what I went through, and
continue to, to EARN my enlightenment. Anyone can experience
enlightenment in a box-- in other words, experience the full sense
of Cosmic expansion and bliss, away from everything else-- it was
all the rage a few years ago, with people immersing themselves in
sensory deprivation tanks, and reporting these wonderful spiritual
experiences. And that is great for the inner portion of life.
However, we all have lived that experience where the inside is full,
and yet on the outside all we see is lack, all the problems, "out
there". You bring up a great point, that unless the inner and outer
are both experienced in the same acceptance and fullness, there is
lot left to desire. It is only when I beagn to fearfully explore all
of what life had to offer that I have really learned what life is
all about.:-)
