I am glad you enjoy the description, since I really enjoyed writing it and reading it too! To your question, there is a subtle confidence about the future of my family that is there, that wasn't there before. Something tangible, as if they are truly and reliably protected now. There is knowledge, and techniques, that are picked up along the way. Attention, intent, fulfillment of desires are all much stronger and of immediate benefit to loved ones. So, yes, the whole family benefits, including the extended family. TM in the family: My brother now deceased meditated and actually worked at the San Jacinto TM Center before it burned down. My girlfriend from high school and college meditated, and graduated from MIU-- Lynne Levinson is her married name. My ex wife meditated, though not regularly, and my current wife meditates with me regularly. The only one I sometimes share my experiences with in my family is my current wife, and then not everything, just as not everything is shared here. Once the experience has left the laboratory so to speak and I have integrated it, then I am more confortable sharing it. However what might be deemed out of the ordinary experiences, are as anyone living Self realization will attest, quite common. When MMY said capture the fort, he wasn't kidding.:-)
