I've been wondering whether the new Faithless album is going to follow
the similar range of tracks from the first two albums. When I first
heard "Sunday 8pm" I felt (and still feel) that most of the tracks on it
are attempts to 'redo' tracks from the first album, and almost none of
them improve on the earlier song of the same style. Does Outrospective
match this?
Biggest Euro dance hit:
Insomnia = God Is A DJ = We Come 1?
More credible dance hit with sustained strings:
Salva Mea = Take The Long Way Home = Tarantella?*
(*- haven't heard it yet, just judging by a couple of reviews I've read)
Singalong ballad about somebody leaving:
Don't Leave = Why Go = ?
Fairly lewd and base song about sex:
If Lovin' You Is Weong = She's My Baby = ?
Very slow moody airy song sort-of about love:
Angeline = Hour Of Need = ?
Light medium-slow-paced funky instrumental with quirky beat and strings:
Drifting Away = The Garden = ?
Dido's main song, wouldn't be out of place on Dido's album:
Flowerstand Man = Hem Of His Garment = ?
Maxi Jazz criticising himself about love & desire over a
slightly-electro-reggaed backing:
Dirty Ol' Man = Killer's Lullaby = ?
