I disagree there. I think one of the main problems with Outrospective is
that several of the tracks attempt to mirror tracks on Sunday 8pm, they
try to make a 'Faithless formula', but this time around it lacks the
spark that the previous albums had.
I don't think that Outrospective is trying something new nearly as much
as it should have done.

I suspect that you've misread the tone of my comments.
When I say that "Outrospective" is being marketed more commercially,
it's not a criticism, it's just an observation. I have no problem with
bands being commercial, and a good chunk of my CD collection is of
artists that have had a lot of exposure and chart success.
Where I think the problem is, is that Faithless (not just their record
label but the band themselves) seem to be bending over backwards to try
to make this album musically a 'mainstream' album, when what I think
they should have done is kept going forwards and finding new directions,
and then let the press and the fans follow them, rather than the other
way around.
