Hi everyone. I'm sorry it's taken me awhile to respond. Wanted to thank you SuBethJimBob for taking the time to check out my site and for all your feedback. I appreciate it more than you know. And no worries, I didn't take any of it as an "attack."
The url in question again is: http://www.colincunningham.com On the intro page, I took everyone's advice and made the "enter" static. I also made the sound play only when chosen. I hear ya about the length of the song. I will work on that. Also, have a question about the little player I've embedded - it is only showing up in IE, not in Netscape. Ugh. Should I be using a specific player that works in both browsers? Another weird thing with media files - Colin tried to open some of the vid files on his Mac in Netscape. The mpeg and avi worked fine, the wmv's don't work at all. Instead, he got a page full of code. ?? I shrunk the banner on the intro page to around the pixel size everyone recommended. I checked out the banner at "fries" - that is VERY cool. I'd love to know how to do a banner that grows and shrinks. <begs nicely with a grin>. Glad the slideshow worked for you on the intro page. I was going to put a border around the pic in the orange jacket, but Colin likes the black against the black. The entire intro page is still very distorted on his Mac. The graphics are way down the page from the banner and the slideshow is way off to the right and barely works at all for him. I'm looking into the "error" messages you sent. I have a lot to learn...and I thank you all for your help.
