Hi, i want to install farcry on a multiple website systems. Our Control Panel creates by default the following website structure
yourdomain.de - special - db - log - www The www directory is set in IIS as the root directory for this domain! How can i set up FarCry to run on this webstructure? I tested arround on our local machine, but everytime FarCry installs the websitestructure under the FarCry directory. Can i tell FarCry that my website is NOT in the FarCry directory? Like yourdomain.de - special - db - log - farcry - www (Website root and website files!!!!!!) Is this working? If not how can i run and setup farcry for a multiple website systems? Install farcry on directory on the webserver and then set each website to the subdirectory of farcry in IIS? I hope not :-( ! We have a similar problem on our local development webserver. We are using ONE root for all websites. Every website has its own directory and will be called http://devwebserver/current_project/ So if we install FarCry with the install instruction we have the same problem. We add a virtual website in IIS called "farcry" we add a CFMX mapping to farcry core admin. After successfull installation the website structure was set to the farcry dir. But we want that the website is outside the farcry dir. Next is, that we use MySQL 5 with JDBC 5.04. If we install farcry we get an error message by creating the database tables. Is there a patch arround or how can we fix it? For testing we installed mysql 4.1 and it works. On the production webserver we can't do that. So i hope that anyone can help us, how we setup FarCry right. THANKS a lot!!!
