In this example, the input does not have a value attribute
maybe something like this would work
<input type="checkbox" name="bAllowLink" id="bAllowLink" value="1" <cfif
bAllowLink>checked="checked"</cfif>>

You will also need to define a default value of 0 (zero) in case the check
box is not checked


I am assuming you have deployed you new type.
