You don't want to know :)

Wait until you see the project I have scheduled for this winter (summer for
you folks down under) set to release sometime next summer (about a year from
now). But I'm confident FarCry can handle it :).

In my opinion, no. However I strongly recommend lots of RAM. A properly
cached FarCry application will require a decent size of RAM (depending on
the size of the application). And if you're running your DB on the same box
as CF then that will be more RAM you'll need to account for. For my larger
sites I like to stick with 4GB of RAM. The good news is RAM is inexpensive.

I have heard of speed issues with people using MySQL and FarCry (or any app
with thousands of records in MySQL)... but this was back in MySQL 4 (Haven't
played much with MySQL 5 which I've heard good things about so far).

As an aside: I recently launched a site where the client gave me a real
crappy box (with a Celeron processor and only 512MB RAM). The site of
course ran really slow. So I had them bump up the RAM and using Mat's new
object broker technology and webskin caching features I was able to speed up
the site so much that you'd truly believe they had a brand new webserver.
And all with only a few lines of extra code! (Thanks Mat!)

Regards,
