Although I have never run FC out of a directory, it should be fairly trivial.
When you run the installer (http://docs.farcrycms.org:8080/confluence/display/FCDEV40/Getting+Started+G uide) it will ask you for the path in which you want to run farcry. This is where you specify the directory path (e.g. products). Strangely enough, I just did an install today, and this was a read-only field (4.0.5 core). Daemon-is this feature still enabled in v4.0? It looks like that path gets copied into the www/Application.cfm call to farcryInit (projectURL attribute). So that should give you a starting point. _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Emanuel Costa Sent: Wednesday, July 25, 2007 1:58 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [farcry-dev] Re: Farcry 4 running alongside with existing applications ok. So how can I run farcry on a directory of the site? That's exactly what I am trying to do. I want to run Farcry with the other stuffs I have on this site. If I do this change than the other pages I have will not work. Is there any other way to solve that? What is actually happening during the installation? What is happening after the installation?
