I am attempting to add e-commerce capabilities to a FarCry web site. I am also new to FarCry, so that may explain some of the confusion below..
I have three potential types or classes of products that could be purchased .. software licenses, subscription services, training seats. In addition, I need the capability for a user to make a donation of unspecified amount - basically a product without a predefined set price. So, my thinking was that I would have content types for the different products. The confusion starts to appear when I am looking at the cart functionality or the payment functionality. These are not really content types, so where/how would they fit or integrate? I think I am attempting to put too much of my non-FarCry development practices into this without fully understanding how FarCry works. I realize this is pretty broad and open ended, but does any have an experience in this area and if so, could you give me any pointers or guidelines? Thanks. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-dev" group.
