Here's some more interesting weird stuff.
I have FarCry setup on my laptop/development machine... basically Windows Vista, Apache 2.0.59, CF8. I duplicated my client site for testing. I created a tree with Quick Site Builder. So far, so good. Went into Admin, did Rebuild Friendly URLs. Okay, that completed. Reloaded the "website"... no friendly URLs. All the pages load, but the URLs are regular. Went to the Site tab in Admin, clicked on one of the pages (e.g. Publications). Doesn't say Show Friendly URLs. Weird. Rebuilt 'em again, refreshed, etc. Same result. I even did updateapp=1 to see if it made a difference, and it didn't. The server hosting the client app is Win2K Server, IIS and CFMX7.02. I have one more server I can play with... it's Win2003 Server, IIS and CF8. I'll go try it there and see what happens.
