Not sure what your issue is.. maybe the Verity config has been corrupted in some way. My recommendation would be to download and install the FarCry Verity plugin. This will completely replace Verity config in the 4.1 release. The Verity plugin is quite mature and we use it in production with many clients right now. The flagged tasks for 4.1 roadmap are really to rip out the old Verity config and burn it in a fire. These configs will be replaced with Verity Plugin as a default option for the installer. Incidentally this opens up the way for other Search plugins as replacements for Verity. A Lucene plugin anyone?
