You are right it is confusing but from http://www.farcrycore.org/builds/
you would download

        farcry-milestone-4-0-9.zip
        m4011.zip

First you unzip the milestone release (this is the full FC CMS
package) then you unzip m4011.zip to update the core to 4.0.11.  The
CMS plugin and the other plugins and the mollio skeleton was not
updated since 4.0.9.

So going forward, download the newest community milestone release,
then the latest core version.  Install the release first, then the
core upgrade over the top of it (careful on OS X as doing so may not
do what you expect if you come from windows)

Confusing, but hopefully this helps a user searching in google in the
future.
