Let me add to this, of course for the navID parameter you can use:
navID="#application.navid.home#"
This is exactly how the upper navigation from Mollio is setup, so as
default it shows all available items and lower hierarchy but hides
that with CSS.
So the biggest problem here was difficult thinking as the example was
there in front...
