Just wanted to quickly say that these are excellent questions -- although they're not simple to answer as most development teams have their own internal processes when it comes to versioning, infrastructure, and deployment approach. We're in the middle of a massive build (in the EC2/S3 cloud for what its worth) but I'll see if I can grab a moment over the next couple of days to explain how Daemon deals with some of these issues. In short, certainly its possible - we designed FarCry for the development of large scale apps. We have over the years changed the default installation to support much simpler environments and the standard installation reflects that. "Advanced Installation" pretty much allows you to put files where you want but you need a more intimate understanding of the framework. geoff http://www.daemon.com.au/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "farcry-dev" group.
