Hi Geoff,

Wow, got the attention of the man himself! ;-)

I've read through the JumpStart doc and can see where it's all going.
Of course being an independently mined Dev I want to break out of the
normal structures :-)

Looking first at deployment config I'm struggling to determine which
is the best mode for me. I have my own hosted dedicated server on
which I've several regular CF sites, FB sites and plain HTML sites.

I'm a little confused by all the different references in the
Deployment Configuration page to "projects", "websites" and
"applications". Maybe they all refer to the same thing or maybe they
mean different things in different config choices. Maybe some
clarification on this point would help. Maybe a definition of those
terms in the context of each of the config types?

The Standalone config seems simple enough but I'm concerned that if I
end up loving FC and have many FC sites I'll be instantiating more and
more instances of the core classes/components and therefore taking up
unnecessary memory. Is that right?

If that's so I should be going for the Advanced config with the CF
mapping, right?

The next thing I'm trying to work out is the file structure. With a
shared instance of FC I'm guessing all the projects live under the one
projects folder which lives in the mapped "farcry" folder which is
used to create each project.

That leads me to another questions. Is there "one Webtop to rule them
all"? What I mean by that is that the installer just creates new
projects and each project has it's own webtop and there is no "master"
webtop that looks down on all the project webtops for master config?

Sorry there are so many questions in one posting. Maybe I should float
them out each as their own thread?

Thanks again...
