Thanks for the info! The laptop is a 64-bit AMD dual core running a 32-
bit version of windows Vista. Are you suggesting that the problem is
that I am not running the 64-bit version of windows? IIS is version 7
(assume it is the 32-bit version also). So the problem seems to lie
with IIS7 and as the post you linked to suggests that this hasn't been
rewritten?

On a slightly different topic do I understand correctly that I can use
Apache/Tomcat and Railo to run CF applications without the need for a
licence from Adobe?

e.g if I follow these instructions:

I get an environment which intreprets CFML even though I'm running
linux etc?
