This is not a problem in IE7 as that is what I use. Unfortunately the university staff have to stay on IE6 at the moment for other reasons. Haven't come across the same issue with other applications up to now. Have done a certain amount of searching net, but will try searching for browser related issues as you suggest. Thanks for help.
