Sadly, I ran into another issue about an hour ago.  I decided to bit the 
bullet and throw another 320 megs of memory at the VPS, one looooooooong 
restart later (it's been like 244 days since the last restart/chkdsk), 
it's running a bit better.  I've not adjusted the memory available to 
Resin yet, but it's not touching swap at all now.  Hopefully it stays 
happy overnight.
