Thanks Chris,

At the moment, it looks as though the two sites (.com and .dk) will share a
couple of custom content types and users. Some content types on the .com
site won't be used on the .dk one, and some users will have access to both
sites. So if they can be kept within the same installation, that would be
the better scenario.

I hadn't thought of putting the shared content types in a plugin that is
shared between the two sites, that might be an option.

For sharing users across both sites, I could just have a page on each site
check if the user is logged into the other site, and trigger a login event
so they would be automatically logged in here.

The only problem I can foresee however, is that I have heard plans for other
offices - with their own .co.uk or .de domains - to be added in the future.
Would using a plugin still be the best option for this? I guess the more
domains are used, the more complex it will get, especially sharing users -
and there would be one database per domain, and that would take up more
space... But the sites shouldn't be too large, so I don't think this would
be such a major issue as FarCry doesn't use appear to use that much space.

If anyone else has any suggestions, please let me know.

Cheers,
Phil
