Its worth noting that each "point" release is in fact a major product
release.  This happens about every 9 months or so.

We only change the primary version number if there is a backward
compatibility issue: either requires a later release of ColdFusion or
the webtop has changed significantly such that users might be
concerned. "Point" releases (eg. 6.0.0 to 6.1.0) are major feature
releases without backward compatibility issues. "Maintenance" releases
(eg. 6.0.1 to 6.0.2) should only require an app restart and no
updaters as they are just bug fixes and minor enhancements.

Your upgrade path is really straight through 5 major product releases.
 Realistically you will need to set aside a few days to make it
happen.  The good news is  that FarCry 6.2 is awesome compared to 4.x
-- they are just light years apart.
