Did you updateapp after putting the rewrite in place? If that still doesn't work, you can force the friendly URLs to always turn on, look in the troubleshooting section at the bottom of this page where it talks about testing with pingfu: https://farcry.jira.com/wiki/display/FCDEV50/Friendly+URLs
