I am eagerly awaiting the walk-through on creating your own security directories (although I have some new ideas on how I might do that by faking a dmUser schema using a View).
Yes a view will be the way to do it for the time being until we get around to updating the user directory code to allow you to write custom SQL statements to select your user and group data. I will try to write the walk-through this week, providing I can keep Geoff at bay for long enough to write it! ;)
Then, of course, is how to link up a dmProfile to an external security directory AND how to automatically set up basic permissions for over 20,000 people!
