OK - I am certainly no expert on Apache Virtual Hosts. Your setup screen
looked OK.

There is a TechNote on the site for Apache/MySQL/Windows:
http://farcry.daemon.com.au/index.cfm?objectid=DE426E62-D0B7-4CD6-F919EB1427
906E28

But - in the first instance - it seems like you may have the mapping back to
front.

D:\Development\FarCry\farcry_core\admin is the admin code.

It should be accessed of your server root using something like "farcry"

So - not really knowing your setup properly - I would guess......

http://fairbanks/farcry

The main part of the site should be accessed via:

http://fairbanks

You will also need to ensure that apps.cfm file has the correct hostname
(fairbanks??) and that you have the correct path assigned to that (probably
'fairbanks' - it is the name of the directory under the FarCry root that you
put in here). With your directory:

D:\Development\FarCry\fairbanks\www

it is the \fairbanks\ part we are focussing on (without the slashes of
course).

The way FarCry admin works is that it reads the structure in apps.cfm, finds
the host it is running on, and then knows which directory the site it
actually administering is in from that structure. I think the installer
will do this correctly for you first time. If you want more than one FarCry
installation, you will have to edit apps.cfm by hand.

Gary Menzel
