Maybe some type of Custom Admin page that displayed the nav tree and allowed you to select a root point in the tree ? Then maybe compose a query manually that consisted of all the objects under that point in the tree ? Then index that query into Verity ? What about such a feature being available in the core Admin stuff when setting up Verity collections and creating/updating them ? The other option would be to create a collection with everything in it - but have a CUSTOM field in the Verity collection that you could then filter on (which would somehow represent branches in your tree) ?
