Hi Paul,
i don't follow this, if you are createing a
lock with a name that is totaly unique then there can not be another lock with
the same name for it to contend with, ever.
so what is the point of the
lock?
my guess is that this should be the OID of
the object that you are creating an archive of, so that you can not make two
archive objects at the same time of the same object.
thoughts?
