Hi Brian,

> ... it gives two options:

You want Option 2 (alongside other applications).

Install FarCry in the directory suggested (regardless of if you have any
other "applications" installed). When you then run the install script, it
will prompt you for the name that you want to call your instance of FarCry
(e.g. my_farcry_app). The install script will create a skeleton of FarCry
where you installed the core files.

You also need to make sure that you have alread created your empty database
for FarCry to put all of it's database tables into. If the install goes
pear-shaped for some reason, make sure you delete any tables from the
database before you run the install again.

If you have a read through the installation guide, you will find that what
you then need to do (on IIS) is set up a Virtual Directory to point at your
instance of the FarCry application (e.g. the directory my_farcry_app) and to
the Administration application.

It is important to remember that FarCry has two parts to it. Firstly, there
is the Administration function that runs at http://yourhost.com/farcry and
your application that runs at something like
http://yourhost.com/my_farcry_app (or whatever virtual directory you have
told IIS it lives in).

Does that help??

Regards,
Gary Menzel
