I have found the qNav query and the cfloop that spits it out (dmHeader.cfm)... I would grateful if someone could share their implementation, in howto fashion, of implmenting dropdown menus and the dynamic population based site hierarchy.
(also interested if anyone has done this with milonic menus and nested at multiple levels...)
You really need to look at the ../packages/farcry/tree.cfc component and it's methods. Browse the CFC explorer and review the auto-doc stuff. getDescendants() is typically used to grab navigational information from the underlying nested tree model.
re: milonic menus.. we're just finishing up a internet/intranet project for a local government body that utilises these menus. If we get a chance we'll release the appropriate code snippets for integration -- but we likely won't be done for a couple of weeks.
