I am a Farcry newbie of about a week, so take these observations with a
'pinch of salt'.
I initially installed V2, then upgraded to V2.1B1 and later V2.1B2 and am
hosting on SQL2000.
1. After upgrade I get the following exception when browsing to /farcry
(admin login):
type MissingInclude
message Could not find the included template
/farcry/farcry_new/customadmin/login/login.cfm.
2. I also noticed the speed increases, especially with cached pages -
great.
3. I find that I can browse directly to the /farcry/updates/index.cfm
file for updating schemas etc as required by the upgrade. I would have
thought it would be wise to have security on this page in case of malicious
use. For example, I can browse to:
http://farcry.daemon.com.au/farcry/updates/index.cfm
Should this page be behind farcry security; or have I missed
something; or does it matter?
Regards
Ian
PS Great work, by the way - the more I play the more I realise what a
great opportunity this is
