Michael,

I look forward to seeing you mod.

Can you tell us a little more about where it will "put" the content items. As i see it there are two approaches, first the content item is shown as a child of the page it was clicked on. Second, the content is associated with a page in the tree - when the content is clicked on from anywhere, then the breadcrumb shown reflects the associated page.

I think the second option is more intuitive, as it always shows the content item in the same path back to home, no matter where it is clicked from..

I did a quick mod to achieve this by creating categories for a magazine site. Each content item is then assigned to a category. When the content item is displayed the the category is checked and the appropriate navid is use to create the breadcrumb. It aint pretty but it works for now, until a better solution comes along.

Chris.

actually that is the way it works. we are currently working on a mod to get
around it, if you can wait until next week.

Hey,

I created a container on a _news.cfm custom include which brought in
some news header etc.....I noticed that everything was OK in the
breadcrumbs as it read;

Home / Resources / News

However, when I click on one of the news items (named News Item One) it
loaded the new page AOK using displayPageStandard.cfm (which I have
modified to include my navigation etc..) but the breadcrumb now reads

Home / News Item One

now, this is essentially wrong, as it should read

Home / Resources / News / News Item One

Is this a bug or is there a way around it?
