A campaign management module would be sweet......

I am stuck with porting an old app to FarCry (as includeObj as my friend) so gonna be knee deep in it....

Brendan,

A couple of things I am working on at the moment are:

An ecomerce module

A method to link dynamic content, a bit like related objects for dmHTML but to link dmNews, dmLink, dmEvent and dmFacts

Both of these, when completed will be made available. Along with the menu code already posted.

I like the idea of the click-a-button installation, but fear that this would be unlikley to work when applying these modules on our sites. The scenario of new modules code/names conflicting with existing code/names is very likely to happen. I do hope that I am proven wrong.

Chris.

Already suggested, and i think Brendon said that that they would be posting developer supplied code to the farcry website.

Yes that's right we do plan a developers exchange on the FarCry website have been caught up with the MXDU confernce lately and haven't been able to get this going. We need to build some sort of archive and deploy tool so that complex custom types that have the component itself, rules, webskins, permissions, include objects, install scripts etc can all be bundled up and then deployed with a click of a button.

I would also like to see what people plan to put on the developers exchange. It's not going to look good if we launch and all we have is say the Daemon forum object. I would like a few entries before going live.

Ideas?
