In fact, when I get around to releasing the Dashboard plug-in stuff, you will find that you MUST adhere to the aInvocations (albeit extended in the Dashboard plug-in) concepts for it to work. This is because the rendering of the content is "delayed" until requested by the page in the "container" equivalent for the Dashboard (called a "panel" in fact). It is what allows the content to end up in different places in your page depending on "context".
